Yolanda Flores

Yolanda attended Pasco High School. Following graduation, she earned her MA-C from Charter College, followed by her medical billing certificate from AAPC.

At Sound Audiology & Hearing Aids, Yolanda’s day-to-day responsibilities include checking remittances, sending statements, posting payments, processing refunds, and answering questions. Additionally, she takes patients back on Occupational Health Fridays for their DOT physicals and opening L&I claims.

Yolanda loves the difference the clinic makes in the community and for families. Seeing the smile on family members’ faces when their loved one can hear what they are saying is a highlight of her workday.

Yolanda’s favorite moment was seeing the smile on an 8-year-old as her grandfather was fitted with hearing aids. She said to her grandfather, “I am so happy you can hear me now, and I no longer have to yell to talk to you, because I love talking to you.”

In her free time, Yolanda likes to spend time with her husband, their one-year-old daughter, and their two dogs. Together, they enjoy going for walks, swimming, and riding bikes.
