How Does Sound Hearing Cloud Work?

Hearing care treatments have evolved rapidly since the 60s. But the way audiologists treat patients hasn’t. This is about to change with the arrival of Sound Hearing Cloud.

Sound Hearing Cloud works through digital equipment that most of us now have as standard – smartphones, computers, and tablets. Using the video function on these devices, patients can speak to an audiologist directly.

These one-to-one sessions replicate meetings that would have taken place in an audiologist’s office. This means that now every patient can receive the same trusted guidance on a hearing concern from the comfort of their homes.

The events of the past few months have caused us to think differently about how we offer services. But even before the pandemic, we knew many of our patients found it hard to come into our clinics. This is a revolution in patient care that we’re bringing forward into the future.

Patients with modern hearing aid technology can further take advantage of “remote assist” software. This allows audiologists to make technical changes to someone’s hearing aid without being in the same physical location as them.
