Signia Hearing Aids

Signia Hearing Aids

An amplified telephone receiver developed in Singapore in 1878 was the first hearing assistance device produced by the founder of Signia, which released its first line of hearing aids in 1910. Since that time, Signia has grown to the point of producing one out of every four hearing aids used worldwide.

Partnered with Siemens for a short time at the outset of the 21st century, the company returned to independent status as a hearing aid manufacturer in 2015 under the Sivantos Group. After the Sivantos/Widex merger in 2019, WS Audiology established Signia as the new brand name for Siemens hearing instruments.

The company’s philosophy encourages hearing aid wearers to “take life in stride.” Signia’s commitment to provide stylish and discreet hearing wear without sacrificing performance, producing BTE and ITC devices with sophisticated form, graceful lines, a refined fit, and a true-to-life hearing experience are evidence that they stick to their philosophy.
